warm up?

Simple question, does it damage a carb'ed car to start it cold and immediately drive it, not letting it warm up?

You'll do more damage with a 20 minute warm-up than you will with a 20 second warm up, as long as you take it easy until the engine is fully warmed.

Re: warm up?

Yea, I try to give it 20-40 seconds or so. At least let it come off of full cold idle. Don't drive it when the starter is still pulling out for gods sake. Some girls I tell you.... ahem, but yea, no need to let it fully come up to temp, just don't give it more than 50% throttle until the thermostat is open (my easy way to figure out if the engine is warm yet).

I agree 100%. Low idle=Low oil flow.
