So I am in the final stages of my motor swap, I need to figure out if my stock TBI throttle bracket that holds throttle cable and TV cable? I need to figure out out if this is all I need, Do I need a diffrent throttle/TV cable bracket too? I have a tourker II intake, so I have no idea. I am tryig to get this done this weekend its kind of time sensitive. I really appreciate all of you helping me get this swap done, I will post pics on sunday when it is finished.
From what I can tell, to not burn up trans by haveing to much or too little tranny fluid pressure. You have to have the correct geometry to have it work right, supposed to be like 1.125 in from center of throttle shaft or something to work correctly. I believe I will need this too http://www.jegs.com/i/Edelbrock/350/8036/10002/-1
suggestions then...? What do you think for my TV corrector? All I need is the part that goes on the carb itself, my stock bracket will work on the torker II. My goals for the carb and intake is to be a good consistant daily driver and get Ok. gas mileage
So is this corrector what I need? I have a edel. 600CFM performer carb for this motor. I need to figue out how to adapt my TBI throttle linkage to this edlelbrock carb too.
Also by any chance does anyone know what sockets I need to take out those weird studs holding in my serp., brackets?
If all you're looking for is a decent daily driver, the carb is okay, but not great. A simple q-jet would be better.
The Torker II is a very poor daily driver intake. It's single plane, which is its first disqualification. It doesn't do anything else well except lower the carb relative to the hood.
