Ok, the fittings on the hard lines are 3/8 saginaw correct? Where can I get the right saginaw fitting to go to 3/8 barb to run to my regulator. Or what I was thinking is get the regular fuel lines from oreillys and clipping them then run those lines to my regualtor. Instead of buying adapter fittings. I am using 3/8 rubber fuel line hose. Thanks in advance.
ok, I am just going to get the stock rubber lines from oreillys and run them up to my regulator. Thats the easiest and cheapest way IMO, but I will go to braided -06 an lines eventually.
Can't tell you exactly what they were, but I found everything I needed in the fittings box at my local Autozone - they usually have a box of trays under the counter that you can go through with all kinds of fittings inside - just have to play the puzzle game to get what you need.
Cut the original factory line in the middle, leaving the connection to the frame-mounted hard lines in place. Shove a double-male hose barb in the end and then put an appropriate length of parts store fuel injection hose on the other side to extend the line up to the regulator. Use fuel injection quality hose, not cheap "fuel line" hose like for a carb. The fuel injection hose is higher quality stuff.
