Edelbrock 750 runs to rich. I need some help

I have a 406 with an edelbrock performer 750. If I dont run it WFO all the time
it will hesitate and start to stumble after some idle time and short driving distances. Should I get a jet kit and jet it down? thanks in advance

try adjust idle micture screws first, just jetting it down is a bit dangerous for possible lean conditions

Jetting it down could be dangerous depending on your altitude...if you are higher elevation it would make since to jet the carb down along with metering rods and springs...good luck...like the other said though...try adjust your airfuel mixture first

Camaro owner's prayer
The Camaro is my obsessions;
That I shall ALWAYS want!
It maketh me burnout on black pavements;
It leadeth me down the busy freeways;
It restoreth my soul.
It leadeth me in the path of quickness;
For its name sake.

Yeah, though I drive through the valley of RICE,
I shall fear no turbo, for torque art with me!
Thy rod and thy piston, they comfort me.

Thou preparest a track for me.
In the presence of mine enemies;
Thou hast anointed my bearings with oil;
My car overpowers.

Surely traction and victory shall follow me
All the days of my life.
And I shall dwell in the house of the Chevrolet\
Forever and EVER! Amen.

(No I didnt write this BTW)

check all the preliminary stuff first (idle mixture, speed, floats, fuel pressure, choke) and then if its still running too rich I wouldn't change the jets, I would try bigger metering rods first.. refer to the manual online its got everything you need to know

>Be careful...it sounds like the stumble is a lean condition! Your idle might be rich, but the part throttle stumble is caused by a lean condition....750 is the right size for your motor, though.
