Why do you want to install a Holley Blue?
Are you removing the in-tank electric pump? If you weren't planning on it, start planning on it now.
Since you have to drop the tank to remove the in-tank electric pump, why not just put in a better in-tank electric pump?
If you really want to go with the Holley Blue, you need to drop the tank and remove the in-tank electric pump. There is a sticky in the top section of this forum that shows how to convert the pick-up/sending unit to "mechanical", including a pick-up sock. With that sock, you don't need a filter before the pump. Put the pump before the stock filter some place, and use the stock in-line filter. You should still have the inlet filter in the carb. |
