l98 tpi to carb lT1....whats wires to save?

hi all, i tried searching and didnt find a really definitive answer when going from tpi to carb and the wiring to save to make car drive. A lt1 has basically fell into my lap so for the summer im throwing a set of aluminum heads/cam/carb on it for now until this winter the car gets a LQ4 efi.

so if you would....what wires do i need and others ziptie away?

You can remove everything in the bundle that goes to the passenger fenderwell. You won't need them for either configuration. You don't need to cut or ziptie them, just unhook and pull the whole thing out. You will have to do something to get the TCC to lock up, as you'll lose that function.

You say "LT1" and "aluminum heads" - are you thinking LT1 aluminum heads will fit on a Gen I SBC, or are you converting a poor LT1 to carb?

ok wiring sorta makes sense lol....also im going th350 for right now until i get the t56.

I should of clarified what i was talking about the lt1. I bought a 95 fleetwood caddy lt1 and plan on putting a set of f-body heads on it and with the f-body cam. Whats sooo bad about carb'ing the lt1?

so pay 700ish dollars to run the lt1 as is and worry about the 300 dollar opti dying when i have plans on dropping a LQ4 in???????

my options with the LT1:
A. (KEEP LT1 AS IS) pay large amount of money for harness and splice into car.
1. opti could die and be out lot of money
2. tuning would be pricey to switch to different program
3. fair resale value.....but not great market for these motors

B. (RUN 3RD GEN COMPUTER)
1. pay to have distributor hole cut and spacer made
2. run the batch injection system for SD tpi
3. lower resale value due to limited use for motor as is

c. (GO CARB)
1. buy 240 dollar intake
2. use carb i have rebuilt on bench
3. could sell to almost any hot rodder($$$$$$)resell point
4. not use nearly all electronics(my car has a lot of issues with this lol)

I dont know i just need to be able to drive this damn car this summer. I dumped a lot of cash trying to get the tpi right on my car and its just sad how it preforms. For the cost to replace the heads/intake/cam on my tpi setup would be close to what i can get a t56 for and the parts i need for my lt1 swap for now. Then, sell the lt1 setup to help offset the cost of the LQ4 build.

I havent put much thought into this as you can see
