| quadrajet secondary problems
I have recently converted to carb. I put in a regulator and had poor results. The psi from the reg was 1 psi. I opened it all the way and only got 2 psi. i took the reg off and hooked it directly to the tpi pump and made a huge difference. The pump is putting out 4.5-5 psi. Now i am having problems with the secondaries. When the open the engine just gets loud but lose power. I can let off a little bit and it will power back up and accelerate. I can not put the pedal to the floor until i reach a high enough rpm then it accelerates great. I dont know that much about carbs and this tread probrably sounds like many others. please help me!!!
