Stock 91-92 Z28 hood with 383

So I have a 383 in my car with Sportsman II heads/intake, Holley 650 DP on top. No spacer. The mounts are enegry suspension. I'm building a CAI instead of using an air cleaner and filter so there will be a carb hat on top. Has anyone else run into this problem? I have a cowl hood but I wanted to ditch it in favour of a stock hood. Kinda like a sleeper theme. Pics would help if possible.

Sportsman II intake?

I don't recall anyone running a hat with a stock hood. I keep thinking I'm going to do a trial fit of the hat I have on the '57 on the Camaro, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Re: Stock 91-92 Z28 hood with 383

If you could, that would be awesome. Gives me an idea if it fits or if I need to do some trimming. I don't see it being that big of a problem as the one I have is only 2.5" tall. Using a CAI setup is probably going to get me better flow anyhow as opposed to the air cleaner on top. I cut a hole in one of the trays behind the headlights and going to fab up some type of "ram air" setup.
