| edelbrock thunder 650 tuning probs??? | Hey guys i have a new motor i had built from a great race shop,been tuning for awhile now and i cant get it to run and drive right. I started at the secondarys and i have a fuel air gauge in the car and when i put it to the floor it kinda bog and such ,,the guage goes full rich, now i jetted it down to .89 seconds and its not much better..should i keep going down?? Also at cruise i`m real lean (snapping poping and all that) sooo i went richer in the cruise by like 9 percent and its somewhat better but not great..(stopped poping) now ive checked the timing,vac leaks ect...it idles great i`m just kinda lost at this point.. Anybody with edelbrock info would be appreciated...THANKS Oh i forgot to mention the motor is a 350 4 bolt 10 to 1 pistons under vortec heads and a 268 hyd cam,, headers | | |
