Wires and ECU Switch to Carb

I just bought a 86 Camaro and i am pulling the 305 and replacing it with a 383 stroker. Now my question is and this might be stupid but I was wondering what wires i would have to keep under the hood and if i could take my ECU out? I am running a mechanic carb hooked up to a Sumped gas tank with 3/8 fuel lines hook to a holley fuel pump mounted on the rear of the car. Thanks for your help

The harness bundle that goes to the passenger side fenderwell is the ECM harness. Take it out in one piece after removing the plastic fender liner and disconnecting it from the ECM. If you have an automatic transmission, you'll lose the wires that go to the torque converter lock-up circuit. Otherwise, everything else you need is still under the hood.

This, of course, is an illegal modification in all 50 of the United States for a vehicle driven on public streets.
