| Please Help! well after putting my engine back together i started the car and had to adjust the timing like crazy and i turn the cap as far as it can go and it runs so i remove the distributor and adjust the timing like that and still need to move the cap all the way again it makes no difference also it runs better with the timing bypass unplugged beacause if you drive it with it plugged in he car dies sometimes and it kind of runs and drives but sometimes needs a small rev to keep it running and if I give it gas hard it feels like it wants to die i installed a cam heres the specs
ADV. Duration (INT/EXH): 288 / 288
Duration @ .050" (INT/EXH): 214 / 214
Valve Lift (INT/EXH): .443 / .443
Lobe Centerline: 112
Power Range: 1700-5200
Its idle quality is good it also says the cam may not be computer compatible whats that mean I also have no problem goin carb just let me know if thats all i should do I also put LB9 heads too what im thinking is that the cam is messing with the computer and throwing of timing any input | | |
