Do i need a spacer / adapter?
i think this is a holley 650 the number stamped on it says 7455 but i cant find any info on Holley.com about it or what ever their website is. I followed a link i say in a sticky to their website.
if i need a spacer / Adapter, can i purchase this at auto zone / advance auto parts?
How long would this take to install?
Will it clear my stock hood?
my tires dont break free, with the QJ from a dead stop, will this do the trick? i would like some spinnage lol the QJ is not rebuilt or anything. but i picked up a working holley 650 (well it supposed to be a 650) for $50
Also my car has NO SMOG stuff, will this matter?
thank you for your patience, i did some searching but didnt find much so i figured id just post, hopefully i didnt over look to much

1. Yes, you need an adapter.
2. From the Holley site: QUESTION How do I find the "list" number on my carburetor? ANSWER The list number for most performance and factory 2 and 4 barrel carburetors will be found stamped into the upper right hand corner of the airhorn or sometimes called the choke tower. On the 4150 HP models that do not have a choke tower the list number will be stamped into the mainbody behind the throttle linkage. This number is used to identify the carburetor and also used when needing service parts or renew kits.
3. Yes
4. Depends on your mechanical apptitude. Do you have all the correct parts? It's not a straight bolt on swap.
5. Probably
6. Any time you break traction, you are slowing down and throwing money away. Why would you want to do that? If it won't do it with the QJ (assuming its set up properly), it won't do it with the Holley either. No magic horsepower to be had from this.
7. No.
The QJ, properly set up, is a better choice from a couple of standpoints. One, you'll get better mileage. Two, and probably more important, it's already there and working. Read the stickies up above about QJ's before you do anything.
you will either need an adaptor or a different intake manifold, with the adaptor you may have some clearance issues. You will also need a vaccum advance distributor and a way to control the converter lockup.
i know theres no magical horsepower, but i thought it would deliver more fuel, and im a 17 year old highschool kid... i want the tires to spin... doesnt matter why, i just want them to. my dad doesnt like quadra jets he wanted to put on a holley 650, and i found one for $50 if anything i can sell it for more than that... and i dont know if the quadra jet is set up properly, my dad doesnt like them so he said get a holley and well put that on there. I guess ill see... thanks for the info provided

and we can not for the life of us get that stupid distributer out. we sprayed tons of pb blaster in there it hardly wiggles, and wont come out. we even heated up a wrench and bent it so we would have a better angle

I know this seems obvious but you did remove the hold down and and bolt first right?
