Intake manifold

I just dropped some money to get an engine built and was just wondering what intake manifolds people have tried and liked, and if they made much difference or not. Only brand I really know of is edelbrock. I know where an edelbrock performer is for $35,just didn't know if it was worth it or if I should stay with my stock one or if there was another make the was drastically better than both?
Thanks
Zach
p.s. after 4 months with my broken down camaro shes almost back on the road(bout $1400 later,,meh, was worth it,lol)

What he said. Can't make a recommendation without knowing what you've got.

Re: Intake manifold

Sorry bout that, typed it up before running out the door for work.

350,at the moment completely stock. Just would be a set of headers and that manifold. Running a 650 cfm edelbrock but wanna step that up to a 700 or whatever the next size up they make is. Don't know the year of the block but should be making me one with centerbolt valve covers. The motor prolly won't ever see much over 300 hp when complete, maybe 350 or so(down the road).

Re: Intake manifold

The Edelbrock Performer EPS is decent too, that's what I run. It supposedly has redeisgned runners to help make more torque.
