Car: 1988 camaro z-28 Engine: built 350 Transmission: 700r4 Axle/Gears: 323 one wheel wonder | camaro runs rich
after almost 1 year i'm ready to drive my 1988 camaro,my problem is the 400-450 horse race engine built for nitrous with a high lope cam with a holley 665 cfm carb seems to run too rich and is fouling out all my 3 sets of spark plugs. i have got the hottest spark plug i can find tuned the carb and it still runs rich? the dist is a mallory and is locked out with no advance so base timing is set at 30 the driveability is ok its fast but the plugs foul out. since the cam is so big i have hardly any vacum 6-8 to be exact so i cant run vacum advance. has anybody else ran across this? since i didnt build this motor i dont have all the specs but i'm tired of changeing out spark plugs every month  | | | |
