Doing a 350 Swap from TBI to Carb and needed some help

Hey Guys,
I have a 1990 Camaro RS TBI 305 that the engine seized up.
I got a deal on a 350 truck motor from a 89 Chevy. So to do the swap I bought a mallory 4309 Fuel pressure regulator
since the fuel pump was already replaced less than 100 miles before. I bought a Edelbrock 1407 750cfm Carb for cheap and
plan to use it as I build up the engine later. Only thing left I need is to get an intake manifold and a HEI Distrubtor and brackets to hook
up the carb to the throttle and transmission TV cable correct?
So questions are...

1.) Which intake manifold do I look to get for a stock 350 truck motor? I will only be running it to 5500 rpm max when I dog it and would like some tq.

2.) Which brackets do I get for the edelbrock carb for transmission and throttle? I heard something about a geometry corrector brackets whats the story on that?

3.) Since it's a 1990 Camaro and the gauges are digitaly controlled, if I pull the ecm what happens? What if I leave the ecm connected and just pull the Check engine bulb out?

4.) The heads on the 350 truck are swirl port crappers and one of the valves is burnt. The heads on the 305 are fine just swirl port crappers to. Is it cheaper to fix the 350 heads are just but the 305 heads on and have slightly higher compression?

5.) How do I go about setting up the edelbrock card for the 350?

Thanks for the help I appreciate it. I'll have pics soon.

You know you could just use the TBI right? Replaced the computer and injectors with one for a 350 and everything should work fine.

Thats true but down the road I'm going to be building an engine or build up the 350 and don't want to deal with TBI tuning. I tune EFI cars enough as it is. Might go to a 454 at some point but thats down the road right now I just want to get the 350 going.

If you read the posts on the first 3 pages of this forum - you'll have all your answers - there's even a post on THIS page that lists all the part numbers from Summit. This has been asked about 10 times this week already. Also there is a sticky at the top of the forum, and the function works great.

Your guages will all be fine.
