hey all

i was thinking to sell my original sepentine setup!
and buy a new set off march!
i have seen much setups and all very expensive!

now i have found what i like and what i will
but i must put on a electric waterpump!

i was thinking to buy a proform electric waterpump!
what do you guys like??
the first one or the second one?

i like the first one!!

i'd be kinda leery about using proform-i beleve that stuff
is from taiwan or china...
i don't care for aluminum pulleys because they wear
fast,but that wouldn't really be a problem for a show
or streetrod type car that doesn't get a lot of miles.
The first setup shown does look really cool with the
electric water pump-the pump shown is a mezeire?
(not sure if my spelling is correct,but those are a good
u.s. made pump.
I wouldn't use an electric pump on my car,but some
of the more recent ones have more powerful motors
than past units,and some people got away with using
them on the highway which used to be a no-no as
the pumps didn't have enough power to cool at high
speeds. with proper wiring a quality electric pump
should be very reliable

If the car is going to be a daily driver, I'd stick with a high flow mechanical (?) water pump instead of the electrical. Unless you are going for all out power, you will not notice much of a difference in power levels to warrant the price. Flow rate would be the same throughout the power range, so while you may be flowing better at lower RPMs than stock, you may run into flow issues when maintaining higher RPMs.

Yeah, the electric pumps definitely look pretty nice, but for reliability I'd stick with a good ole' fashion belt driven one.

I don't see why not. I know a lot of racers and such that use electric water pumps and they never have trouble with them, I'm sure that they are reliable enough for daily use.

On a side note, i also look in to cool new parts and i find that alot of different websites have reviews for different products, i find those helpful when looking to buy. Ya know between brands and such.

I agree Belt driven is what i like rather repair a belt than one that is electronic and fail. YIKES!

okey different answers!!!

first i got no camaro for daily driven
i only drive wen the weather is good! sunny and or dry!
and only for show complications!

i like the style of the pump!!

for a show type car, aluminum pulleys and a quality,
properly wired electric water pump should be fine.
-didn't know there was such a thing as sunny,dry days
over there in holland

It was sunny and dry when I was there. The tulip fields were awesome in the sun.

did you guys now where i can buy the hole march set in silver powder coated??

summit and jegs don`t have it!!!

i have see the march catalog and they are there but were to buy?

22017-09 is the part nr with the press fit SP pulley

the -09 is the extra nr for silver powder coated
