carborated ram air

hi i just bought a 87 firebird it has the carbed 305. it needs a paint job. i was thinking about a candy red(interiors red) are there any other ideas. I also wanted one of those ram air hoods before i painted it but i want it to be fuctional. The only intake systems that i can find that come with the ram air is the TPI. Does anyone have a site where they sell ram air intakes for caborated cars or do i have to fab one. also if some body has a car that has a candy red car, could you post a pic.

Re: carborated ram air

you have to make your own parts to connect the ram air openings to make it functional, nobody makes one for a carbed car.

IMHO, that hood is ugly as sin and belongs on no vehicle other than a 98-02 4th gen. The lines just dont flow with a 3rd gen.

my car is red, not candy red
