Showdown: Carter Mechanical vs. LG4 in-tank

...and the Carter wins! The electric in-tank is dead. Was getting curious about how my camaro has been running lately so I went ahead and bought some extra fuel line and plumbed the tank to an empty jug. I then stuck the Carter feed hose in a fuel jug and started the car. No fuel coming from the tank, and the engine "sounds" like its running better.

However my PSI guage on my holley fuel log is still flying from 0-7 like a cocaine addict watching adult movies.

So I feel like I'm going to have to drop the tank. What should I do? Should I replace the pump or delete it? Do I need to plumb a regulator between my carter and my holley as well? should I upgrade to a plastic 4th gen tank during all this?

I'm still planning on driving her the rest of the week. My z28 is low miles and I don't want to drive it, although its fully mission capable and gets twice the gas mileage, and is all around a much better car. grrr....

Help me out friends...
