I have recently wanted to put a spacer under my carb, but I do not know what model it is. I have casually glanced at my carb, but no numbers are visible without apparently searching. Where do I fing the model number on it? I did not build the engine myself, so I am still in the process of exploring everything and trying to figure out exactly what it is that I bought. The intake says Holley Street Dominator on it, carb has an electric choke (which I have no idea how to set.) I'd like to get a manual for it. If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it, and I can provide pictures if needed.

why do you want a spacer on it? and yes a manual choke is so much better than electric in the cold

The Holley part number is stamped on the front of the choke tower. It should start with "LIST", then followed with something like "4776-5".

It's about 99% certain you have a 4150 or 4160 style carb. Spacers for them are the standard squarebore (non-Dominator).

It isn't likely that a spacer will make a noticeable difference, but other than lightening your wallet or killing hood clearance, won't hurt anything.

Electric choke is VERY easy to set: on a day when it's about 70-80° outside, just loosen the 3 screws that hold it, and turn it to where it just barely closes the choke butterfly. IMO they are VASTLY superior to manual ones; they close based on the actual measured temperature, and pull themselves off as they warm up, and do not rely on the vehicle operator to have expertise in how far to pull it out, when to back it off, etc.

Is that the number I'm looking for? I'm not really sure exactly where the number is (and it's freaking COLD outside.)
The number is 80457-2 and 2630... I don't see a "list" number anywhere but I think I may be looking in the wrong place.

@sofakingdom: is there any way to set the choke correctly in the cold? It'd be nice to have it run OK before it warms up... It's a cold-blooded witch right now. It's only 12 degrees out right now.

Also, I have a loud sqeal coming from under the hood that tends to disappear when the engine is warm. Any idea what that might be? I replaced the p/s belt, but still need to replace the alternator one. Is it a possibility that it could be the water pump going out? I DO have issues with overheating, but I don't know how bad because my mechanical gauge fell out and fried on the header.

Not really; you can set it to the factory's "nominal" marks, and adjust from there, but that's about it. It'd likely take a few tries to get it right. Which is a hassle when you go out there on a cold morning, start it up, don't like it, adjust it, and then have to wait until the car cools ALL THE WAY down to test it again.

You could take the carb off, bring it inside, and set it that way.

As far as the noise and poor cooling, sounds like a loose alt/WP belt. See my signature for a helpful mental process for troubleshooting.
