Car: 1986 Trans Am
Engine: Carbed 355
Transmission: Th700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.73 Posi
Finishing up Carb swap from TPI
Ok i have everything figured out besides the throttle cable bracket and the geometry corrector for my tv cable i have a holley 1850-4 600cfm vaccum secondaries and a 700R4 transmission, Im getting rid of my tpi throttle cable and tv cable and replacing them with cables from a factory carbed third gen. i just really need links or picture or just advice in general.

You can get brackets from Jeg's or Summit to handle the new throttle cables. When I did this on another car I just fabbed a bracket that mounted to a boss on the intake and then I cut out a square to mount the throttle cable to. Did not have the auto trans though. Just used a piece of heavy sheet metal, worked fine but not pretty ...

If i knew how or had the tools to fab a bracket i would just to save some cash but i unforunatley dont lol.

I messed with the cheap Mr. Gasket bracket on my car. Finally launched it in the woods and bought the CSR bracket and the extra adapter for the TV cable. I used the TCI geometry corrector. All of this worked with my stock TPI cables. However, I would like to ditch the throttle cable and get the shorter one for the carb equipped cars.

Read the "TV 101" article; look for your carb in the liist at the left; open the catalog; stuff like that.

Ok i went ahead and got the geometry corrector from summit instead of tvmade easy because, it was cheaper and ive been reading it has worked for many people on here just fine. now i just need a tv cable and a throttle cable i cant seem to find where to get them at reasonable price? anybody have them that they would sell me or point me in the right direction where to buy?
