cfi wiring???
Ive recently swapped my 82 z28 crossfire injection to a regular 4bbl with a mechanical fuel pump. now I need to know what wiring i can eliminate. could use any help i can get.

You can eliminate all of the wiring that is part of the bundle that goes to the passenger side wheel well. I wouldn't recommend cutting it, though, as it can all be removed intact.
If you have an automatic transmission, you should do something to hook up the torque converter clutch lock-up. There are kits available, or you can rig it up yourself if you like (there is a tech article on it linked from the TGO homepage).
Also, if you haven't done so already, you need to drop the tank and remove the in-tank electric pump (unless you power it to feed the mechanical pump, and use a return regulator to control fuel pressure). There is a sticky in the top section of this forum that describes how to convert an in-tank electric pump pickup to mechanical.
