TBI to Carb conversion
When converting to carburation from TBI, will the gauges still work (ie, temp, oil, volts, etc)? or will you have to get new gauges?
After reading the tech article, I was curious as to if the emissions would still fly or if they would have to be taken off, and if so (probably would remove them anyway) Would it be easy to do so?
Fuel pump wise, what would you guys suggest? I would probably be running a higher HP motor, and will an electric fuel pump connect to the OE wiring or would I need to re-wire it somehow?
Thanks, and probably more questions to come.

If you convert to TBI the guages will still work, but you will need an HEI distributor. The pump you have now will work fine, just get a regulator. The emissions stuff is easy to remove and will not hurt anything, but your service engine soon light will always be on unless you take the bulb out.

Car: No more birdy
You will have to get a good fuel pressure regulator or remove the tank replace the fuel pump with a tube or sender from a carbed car then run an electric fuel pump inline prefrebly a rotary pump. You could remove the emmisions stuff but if you need an e-check your probably better of leaving it in there.
