Air filter size???

Ok im in the middle of getting a new air filter (k&n) and i did'nt know there was a science in picking the right size. any suggestions? everything i have is pretty much in my sig i was thinking of a 14x4 or would that be to big??

14x3 is the typical size. Depending upon hood clearance and base type (drop or flat), you may have to go with 14x2.

Before you spend the bucks on a K&N, consider an AMSOIL oiled foam filter. Flows like the K&N, has a lifetime warranty like the K&N, is cleanable and holds a bunch of dirt like the K&N, but filters out smaller particles than the K&N.

Just want you to make an informed decision, that's all...
