Adjust float in edelbrock?.....

Quick question, how do I adjust the float in my edelbrock 1406.

You got to take the bowl cover off the top first. 8 screws I think. You will have to take some of the linkages apart too. Once you get the top loose, just lift off the top of the carb, trying not to tear the gasket. The floats will stay attached to the cover. Can't remember the correct settings off the top of my head though. Sorry

Car: 1986 Trans Am, 1991 Firebird
Engine: 355 TPI, 3.1L V6
Transmission: 700R4 in both
i think on the 600 they're supposed to be at 7/16 inch. i think! in the edlebrock manual it shows to adjust them witha 7/16 drill bit.? are you just checking or are you re-building email me for any questions!
