my z28 ran hot after replacing a thermostat. the mechanic said there were 2 temperature thermostats that could fit the car, so he changed it from the stock (220 i think) to a lower temp one (170 i believe) and that fixed the problem. so you might want to try that.

Thanks, but I already have a lower temp thermostat in it. So that leaves it to the Timing issue.

But here is a picture of the Original Milage on the car. It's under the National Average.

It has an engine it it, but it has a spun bearing

Auto tranny is still in there and works great as far as I know.

I have the interior out at the moment.

It has power windows, and power hatch

84k on the odometer

I want to get $5500 for it but will take an offer,the transmission is almost new,its a 700r4 raptor with shift kit and billet servo(3000miles) with 2400 tci converter Look at the pics and the list of mods are already done. Needs a fine tune and throttle/transmission cable need adjustments,less than 100 miles on rebuild.Bore increase was done by previous owner. hooker shorty headers to true dual 2.5" with 2 dynomax bullets dumped before real axle(quite loud)pete jackson "noisy" timing set.never checked the gears but said to be 3:42's?I was going to change to 3:73's so i didnt care but never got to it. Has a 4" k&n air filter.Hood has hole cut so it can breath a bit.Was going to buy hood but college is expensive.Care has ttops.Interior is OK. Has the trademark rip on drivers seat.I do have a few more pics that i could email if you are interested.(I dont have any with the motor back in. It's painted chevy orange with chrome timing cover. A/C is deleted but i just put the bracket back on so it still looks like it has A/C. Trans is also painted chevy orange)...im in michigan
