Beware of jamieriplilb

Buyers need to beware of jamieriplilb. He contacted me about having a set of 1992 Trans Am taillights available. We discussed prices and I told him that I would take them. The next day, I get an e-mail from him stating that he was offered more from another buyer, and would only sell them to me if I raised my price. Originally I discussed how much more he would want for them, until I came to my senses and told him that I wouldn't raise my price.

If you agree to sell a part to a buyer, you should not be trying to still sell the parts and then demand more from the original buyer. The only thing that I can say about the new buyer is, I hope he is happy with the lights until Karma gets him and he gets rear ended.

Beware of jamieriplilb trying to sell parts out from under you for more money!

Did some poking around in the member search feature.... interesting stuff to be found...

janieriplilb uses the same email address as Jamiejamesb1? And they are both trying to sell 91-92 trans am tailights...

I wonder if there is anything to that?

One would think that there should only be one user id allowed per e-mail account. I wonder if there is a way for the moderators to remove all users that have set up multiple accounts with just a single e-mail address.

They aren't using the same email address on their accounts. And viewing members' email address is not made public for privacy and spam purposes. Perhaps they referenced the same email address in posts, but they aren't registered using the same email address. On our forums, an email address can only be used by one account at a time - not just a policy but it's a restriction that the software enforces.

What I was getting at is they list the same email address in their for sale posts. As in "If you want more detail or want to buy email me here..."

Do a post search on both of the above id's you'll see what I mean.

You would help us out more by leaving him negative iTrader feedback

You need to have made a transaction via this website in order to leave feedback. It doesn't sound to me like this happened.

I would love to use iTrader but I managed to NOT have a bad experince and hence I can't put an honest entry there for it. Trust me I will be using it for both good and bad in the future.

Did he try to get you to increase the agreed upon price? I wish that he could be rated on iTrader, but he knows enough to not complete the deal, just back out and try for more money at the end.

No I made him a better offer in the thread. He PM'ed me and accepted and even accepted in the thread then took someone elses offer .... I'm just curious once he accepts a off and verbally states it in a thread if he can have a negative put on his I-trader? I am sure this should be so since a deal was made. But either way stay away from this guy he is a waste of time and should be selling on ebay since his threads are massively missrepresented on pricing.

Re: Beware of jamieriplilb

Here's an idea, put the negative on in iTrader and then if it is inappropriate I am sure the iTrader moderator will correct it.

Re: Beware of jamieriplilb

I left him negative feedback ... but forgot to leave a link to the thread. But I'm sure a moderator can find it LOL ... way I see it, he accepted my offer in two ways. Therefore a deal was made and he backed out. If a moderator erases the feedback then this I-trader isn't worth anything. His sales are nothing more then auctions is all.

Re: Beware of jamieriplilb

Seems to be Neutral to me.

There's much more to a deal than saying yes. There are a lot of good reasons that a 'I'll buy it' deal gets is cancelled. Until the cash trades hands it's not a "Deal",............. for the buyer or seller.

Sure - selling to someone after accepting an offer is shady ( AT BEST ). Your greatest inconvenience is the time taken to give everyone a "Heads-Up"; That's not even an inconvenience once your warning reaches the members here.

This Forum is the perfect place for your "Heads-Up".

There should be no Neg. feedback on iTrader as the seller never accepted payment (No Deal).
