Sweetpea12 sold me some hood louvers about a month ago. I asked him how many tabs were broken. He said total of four between the louvers. So I sent him $65.00 for the louvers. It took him over a week to ship them out. Then when I got them the box he put them in was too small. So the louvers were broken in shipping. I contacted him and told him what happened. He told me to send them back and he would refund my money. Sent them back over two weeks ago and waited. Then emailed him asking where my money was. He got all upset and said I would have it september 29th. Still haven't gotten anything. And he wont email me any more.
This is the first time I have gotten burned on this site. Witch is good cause most everyone on this board is great and have helped me put my car together.
Go to the FBI Internet Fraud site and fill out a complaint. They will have the local police department pay him/them a visit. Should shake things up. Using the interent and the mail to defraud people is mail fraud which I believe is a felony. Good luck.
ha ha one wheel peel i was laughing at your screen name all day today. I hit some sand or something today coming out of a driveway and spun that pesky right rear tire.
i thought "man i should make a catchy screen name that shows my frustration and apparent love affair with my non post rear end" then i thought Crap some one has that! one wheel peel.

back in spring he came to my house and bought a hatch from my 91 bird. was rust free and when he got here he said oh i am short on money cause i had to fill up the car and a tire blew last week. well i just wanted to get rid of it though so i lost out on 15$. then i was suppose to meet him in august and the day before i was suppose to meet. i came home from vacation, he calls and says he cant meet cause he has no gas. id agree ban them.

Chalk up one more sucker. Yeah, $40 for a power seat track....one month later it still hasn't come (never will). Any more advice on filing a complaint? I plan to do that soon, just wondering if anybody else will. I really should have checked the feedback board, didn't even know one existed. My own dumb fault though.
i know this is an old thread, but when this person was wanting to buy my old 83 firebird, they sent a fake paypal email to me... Google mail is good at catching fake emails like that, and i backed outta the "deal" and this person bashed me and said they were gonna make me look bad on this site... should of said something, but i didn't think about it.
Same here i bought a window from them and sent them the money and even more money for insurance for it. Said it was gonna get shipped 9/23/07. still hasnt gotten here yet, and never will. I filed a complaint on paypal, but they cant get my money back. I hope they get banned, or arrested or something.
Add one more to their list, I paypaled 125$ for seatbelts and a dash pad. After a few pm's saying "ill send you a tracking number" etc etc, i get nothing. Filed a complaint with paypal, but couldnt get any of my money back. at least i learned to be a lot more careful, but its still a shame to make an otherwise positive resource (TGO) into something where you gotta watch your back all the time.
I still have his adress to. Its only two hours away.
If it was my $65 he had in his pocket you can bet your hard earned $$ That I would be knocking on his Front door. Just so that he realizes that I know where he rests his head at night, and so he starts looking over his shoulder - if he isn't already.......
i just talked to wells fargo to dispute the credit card charge for sweetpea. so, if you had your paypal linked to a credit card rather than a checking account maybe that is a way to get your money back?? ill update if/when i get my money back.
