Car: 89 RS Engine: LB8 Transmission: T-5 Axle/Gears: 3.42 | cam91rs1 where is my column? Hello Jared,
I hope you are not trying to screw me over, I guess I shouldn’t have trusted you but I did, I need a tracking # for the column, the column, or send me my louvers back. Here is how everything has transpired since we made the deal just so everyone knows. The only reason I am posting this is because he supposedly shipped the column last Friday, has not given me a tracking # and is now stating he never received the louvers I sent and have proof of them being delivered.
Original thread: http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/ex...-steering.html (Trade hood louvers for steering column?)
Bad transaction before this: http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/cl...t-82-iron.html (watch out for 82 iron duke)
Here are the Private messages between him and I:

The louvers are really nice with only one half broken stud in total. The half broken stud is in the middle of the louver so it will not affect mounting. Please send me your addy so I can get them packaged.

3/30:
"hey those louvers didn't come to saturday not monday yours should be there by now as well i sent it out a week ago i used usps they told me 5 days cause it was parcel post let me see if i can track it down i didn't get the delivery confirmation but i'll see whats going on"
It seems like he is telling one lie after another to cover up the first lie, I wish he would have just maned up, told me the truth in the first place, and he would avoided a situation like this.

Also I ship a LOT of packages through usps, they are slow but do not lose stuff, or at least they have not lost any of the probably 100 packages I have sent through them. Lately USPS seems very slow, I shipped out an antenna that should of been 5 business days but took about 2 weeks, no idea why. Give it a chance, USPS is always slow but reliable. |

Matt | I sent my package out AS PROMISED, it arrived to him AS PROMISED in a few days. Why did he not send it out on Friday UPS with tracking like he stated I am not bashing anyone here buddy, all I want from him is the TRUTH instead of one lie after another. If he is your buddy why don't you find out what is really going on and post it here because he wont. Please reread all his posts and read through the original thread if you think he is in the right, heck he lied about sending out a payment when I orginally dealt with him and he was caught telling a lie there also. All I want is a tight steering column or my louvers back, simple as that, I don't need any more smoke blown up my arse There is one thing I really hate and that is a liar, when someone tells a lie they have to keep telling lies to cover up the original lie and it turns to this

It only costs a couple of buxs more but it is worth it because you know it will get there on time. If he says he sent it all I can do is wait, originally he stated he sent it UPS and forgot the tracking # at work, so lets see what happens

Delivery time is dependant on distance, it is not always 2 days. It is faster than parcel post but not always 2 days. Anyway, good luck. I have a nice column from an 88 IROC if you still need one. |

I have dealt with people in the past who say they sent it USPS and have no delivery confirmation. You basicly are taking there word(which isnt much in this day and age) that it was actaully sent. Then they can lay all the blame on the post office when it never shows.
The way I see it, he owes you money or a column if it doesnt show up. Delivery confirmation is to protect the seller and it deosnt cost much. Its his problem if he cheaped out and didnt put it on the package. Also if he stated he was shipping UPS and sent it out USPS then thats just bad business.
Oh, and 83Chevy_Camaro...your a douche bag. If thats the best you can contribute to this site then go away.
