I am not sure if I should give out his real name while its pending. He owes me $255.00 He bought some items off me, paid with Pay Pal. I shipped, left positive feedback and so did he. I have a son his age (18) but this kid is very immature. Expect about 500 emails back and forth all day and night. I would not sell to him again. A couple weeks or so after the sale he reported his credit car lost or stolen. They notified pay pal and then my $255.00 was taken out of my account on hold until it gets straightened out. He says the credit card company was fighting all the charges on the card. Even the valid purchases he made. It doesnt make sense. Then pay pal was told that he didnt receive the items and he filed a chargeback claim with them through his card company. It has my $255.00 on hold and tied up till whenever. He says the credit card company is at fault and he tried to tell them that he made the purchases. I dont believe that. I had a card stolen before and I itemized the charges I made and didnt make and they investigated only the ones I didnt.
I will keep the board posted on the outcome but dont need another circus, so please helpfull comments and suggestions only. He is only 18 and dont realize all the time and effort I took, and money I spent to get and ship his parts. I do not want them back. I sold them, they are his. I just want my money. I didnt locate (35 miles) , take and send pics, return 35 miles, pull, purchase, (35 miles) clean up, pack, ship (15 miles) to have them returned to me to re sell almost 2 weeks later after my original payment was snatched out of my account.

Ray is very good at delivery confirmation and tracking so I would say yes. Let PayPal know the package was delivered and received(with your proof) and they should release the charge back MAYBE What it comes down to is he is committing Credit Card Fraud, lets see what happens to him!

Yes to both you guys, I am in a pay pal dispute right now. I provided tracking number info and a bunch of emails we sent. I am confident that it will be returned but I was told they have 105 days maximum to resolve it.

Thats good. It seems like credit cards is a way for people to commit fraud with paypal. The credit cards give the people back the money before asking questions.

Yep, exactly. Now his ISP cancelled his email., he says. But he still signs on here? Maybe a friends house? I dont know. But anyway I am confident that they will side with me and put it back in after the wait.

just wanted to say i had a similar case where i sold goods and a credit card was used. paypal placed a hold on my account because the buyer told the card company to cancel payment.

i called paypal and showed them proof that my goods were shipped and delivered and they cleared my account and i got my money. It was a miscommunication on part of the buyer and his bank because he sent two payments by accident and only wanted to cancel 1 of those.

Paypal is suppose to be the safe/secure way of doing business and is to protect you from things like this. I'd call them up and talk about the situation to see if you are gonna be covered for this.

Also if i was scamming you then I wouldn't have even bothered with you after I got the stuff. As an example, your statement about me selling carpet for $200.00 is false. I sell it for $100.00 a set shipped in U.S. Check the thread again, I sold almost all I have available. So it must be worth it to many people. Including you. If you dont like the price you dont have to buy it. Furthermore, It is at least $100.00 job to drive 35-40 miles one way to locate decent carpet. Then pull the seats, center console, door sills, and then the carpet, purchase it, drive back, clean it up, pack it, drive to ship and paying for the shipping. If you will do it for less, we will all take orders from you. I will take a couple sets myself.
Yes I was mad. You let me do all this work only to tie up my time and money spent for 2-3 weeks so you could play kid games. People here know I am honest and sell alot of quality parts. If I make a mistake, and I do at times, I try my best to fix it. No, I dont want the items you bought back. I worked for you. You paid me. Then about 2 weeks later, you reported your card stolen, had Visa reverse the valid purchases that you actually made. Then you changed your story and told them you never received the items. It was easy to prove you a liar. All I had to do was provide them with the emails, PM's that you even said you received the parts. And of course the Fed Ex tracking numbers showing the parts delivered. DUH ! Therefore, You bought them again on your Visa card for good this time.

So apparently you cant read either. I have had it posted for that price for months, have sold tons, and even in some cases cheaper than that to help out a few financially hurting people, ( new baby ect.). You must have misunderstood that. Check the thread again on carpet. Or stop trying to blameshift and point the finger at me for your stupidity. Ok you just showed us all your character. I Pulled other parts for other customers to make the drive worth it of course. And I went out of my way for your items. And of course I made a profit. It was worth $100.00 for a set of carpet to be pulled, purchased, cleaned up, and shipped. I paid for the carpet, paid for the shipping and did the work and travel to pull it. What was it worth ? If I paid $5.00 for it, thats fine and it dont matter. Labor, shipping kills. Everyone in business buys as cheap as they can. I buy alot from these yards and get the best price I can.

I just bought a crosslaced rim from him off ebay. Me and foward540 chatted on the phone right after and im paying him 175 plus 30 for shipping for the rim. So 205 total. I came across old billz so i asked him to hold onto the rim for another 2 weeks and he said he would. I have the money now and havent sent it out yet, but should i be worried? im paying with a money order.
