Sorry to have to call you out like this, but i cant wait any longer.

You replied to a thread informing me that you have a T5 VSS for sale, so i pmed you, and said id take it. We exchanged info.
I mailed you a money order for an amount more than your asking price incase shipping to Canada was a bit more. It was mailed to you on Jun 22nd.
I received an e-mail from you on Sat Jul 11th, saying you received the MO and were going to ship it out on Monday.
10 days later (after not hearing from you) i e-mailed you back asking if you could give me a tracking number, to which you replied that you had forgotten to mail it, and will do so ASAP. I was annoyed, but understanding, we all have personal problems now and again.
July 30th, after not hearing back from you at all, i e-mailed you one last time before i was out of town for 2 weeks, asking for an explanation as to why it was taking so long.
Here we are at Aug 15th (More than a month later). Im out $46 for a T5 VSS that i needed urgently a month ago, and no VSS.
Judging by your feedback, and e-mail conversations, you seem like a decent enough guy. Im hoping youre just having some personal issues and keep getting slipped up. If you cant do it, just say so and return my money.
I believe I this is the same member that was gonna purchase an emblem from me awhile back. I was told that he sent a money order out for the emblem. I never received the money order and asked him several times if he still wanted it but we agreed to wait to see if the money order turned up. I have never had anything lost in the U.S. mail before but theres a 1st time for everything. I am not sure if it was ever mailed or not but regardless I didnt send the emblem out unpaid. Just for your info. Cant say anything bad about him because I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He then decided he didnt want the emblem.

I made a few purchases and sales (maybe 10 in total) before the Rating system under the handle came about. I dont think any members had any issues with me, nor i with them. Ive also been on the board for a number of years.
In any case, i e-mailed him again today (Aug 17th 2009) asking for an explanation, otherwise i think i can say i just lost nearly $50.
He mentioned on July 22nd that he was having family issues, but i think hed be able to get back to me nearly a month after he said hed get the part to me.
We exchanged a few e-mails since i contacted him last.
He was very apologetic, and said he should have mailed it out right away. He is having family issues tying him down, which is why he didnt get me the part.
He said he would make time to have it shipped out ASAP, and true to his word he did.
I received it today (Sep 3rd) 3 days after he shipped it.
I am pretty annoyed that it took this long to get the part, but i have no choice but to be understanding. We all have issues now and again.
So not a thumbs down, nor a thumbs up. But he is a nice guy and i would do business with him again.
You had to do what needed to be done in order to get a response from him. In the end, despite the family issues, the seller had your money and needed to make things right. It's nice that you updated your thread and that things worked out for the best. Good luck to both of you.
I don't get why everyone is so understanding all the time. The guys are running a business. Your personal problems are not the buyers concern. If you for see problems, don't advertise. If heaven forbid there are extenuating circumstances, return the guy's $$$, or get someone else to send the part for you. Just my 2 cent's. Would you pay your contractor for services rendered for a renovation and then let him return to do the job 4 months later? Just something to think about.
I don't get why everyone is so understanding all the time.
Youre blurring the lines between professional retail companies and a hobbiest.
I would/could not hold a hobbiest who is selling me a part to help me out to the same accountability i would hold a site sponsor who has customer satisfaction policies in place.
