Here are a few pics of original GM documentation introducing the "new" 1987 Camaro convertible. Please note that the car pictured is actually a 1986 model.

If anyone wants to download either of the first two images to their hard drive, I have much larger and clearer images than the two I posted. Please e-mail me and I'll send the clearer one(s) your way. The second two I posted are not reduced versions.

i actually have an asc conversion convertible, i have the lt model.i have seen different productions numbers on these.the gm website claims there were 1007 made in 1987,but asc claims less than 900. i am actually thinking about selling mine, any takers out there? i have the interior out right know (i am planning on new carpet) and it could use a top. let me know if you want to see some pictures.

rescued from a junkyard... never been wrecked... the tranny went out, so the stpuid kid sold it to the junkyard.. engine and tranny were sold, hood, fender, door, drivers seat, and wheels and front and rear bumpers were also sold... got a few dents from being in the yard too
stupid kid... it will be returned to its original glory (or past its original glory) when i have money
that's a shame, the tranny was an expensive fix but not a death blow! hang on to it,they ain't gettin' no younger. if you're ever in the nashville area, look me up, i've got some of those parts you need. as for motor and trans,it's beggin' for an upgrade. my '89 rs 'vert tells me that all the time.......:lala:

Look NOW, but there is a 3rd gen Convert set up with a blower and raised hood on eBay right now.,.. Worth it in my book!
Hey, the funny thing is the top instructions because I've found I need to hold the top up while lifting over the rear deck lid (left to right side or vice~versa) I can't do it from one position and one side!! hehehe
Bill
Willie, can you email me the images. I collect everything Camaro and have a room that looks more like a Camaro museum than my office. Enclosed is a picture of my wife's 1992 RS Convertible.
That did not work!! Anyone want to help me out on how to get this picture on this site?
