| Weatherstripping You don't HAVE to replace all weatherstripping when replacing the top. I would have your top guy inspect what is there and recommend what needs to be replaced. That's what I did. This was my first convertible so I wandered into his shop needing a pro to point me in the right direction. I had owned my car less than a week when it went into the shop for a new top and interior. After looking at the stripping we decided to replace the part that sits on top of the tonneau. It's integrity was fine but it looked to have become flattened with age.
Since the top I have replaced the two side pieces behind the windows.
After having owned the car for a while now there is nothing about the stripping that would be difficult for a person with moderate skills to be able to do. It's not brain surgery...
I bought my weatherstripping at Fbody Motorsports
Good Luck!
