Ok can anyone tell me if any thirdgen verts ever came with a headliner? I beleive I have read that 89-92 cars had them, If this is the case, Is it possible to put one into an older convertible such as the 88 I am buying.
Any of you guys have pics of a convertible with a liner/headliner?
My '89 doesn't have one either. I'd like to know specifically which year was the first. Looks nice. Those pics above is the first time I've ever seen it.
actually i think 89 mid years had them depending upon the width of the bow in the middle of the top. I have a 51&1/2 inch width bow from window to window on the doors.. the car has what looks to be headliner mounting like the one above does, but mine when i bought it didnt come with the headliner in it still..
You mean you guys keep your tops up? *baffled amazement*
I can vaguely remember that my vert has a headliner, tinted windows, and ice cold R12 A/C, just because I put the top up when I washed it and stored it.
At highway speeds, top up or top down is just as loud, can't see the headliner making any difference.
