Are you limited in production? I want one but can't afford one right at this moment. I'd say sometime in the next 2-3 months I would buy one.

Re: Vinyl wear stickers finally done.

I can get them done whenever. I do have to do these in runs though I can't do one at a time but I am using my funds to have quite a few done. Also will be looking into selling these to other vendors to eliminate so many task on my part so I can move onto the next project. So yes they will be available but if I end up selling vendor only the price would probably slightly jump through them. I will be talking with a local business about reproducing the top header trim pieces also. Hopefully sometime this week but not a guarantee on that though. The decal that I am currently sending out are hand cut around the decal (decal is computer cut then I am trimming around the decal because the sheet of vinyl is huge and they are definitely hard to see because of the crystal clear vinyl so when you receive them they will be in the rough shape of the decal so it is easier to apply. After we get some programming errors resolved the cutter will be perforating the backing for me so it will be a pop out decal which will make it look alot more professional. Appearence is not really critical on my part though (although it helps.)it is the functionality of it. These will fit correctly on all 86-92 ASC conversions. And the NOS does not include the small side decals or at least mine didn't and the years really affected the quality of the NOS decals (mine was yellow and orange when I received from modern day muscle. Sorry this is so long. If you made it through all of it Thanks

Re: Vinyl wear stickers finally done.

Is the material you use actually urethane film? What thickness are you using?
VentureShield
ventureshield.com is a company that offers "invisible" bras and bumper protection made with urethane film which is 8 mils thick. Do you use the same material? They do not have the convertible top protection you are offering.

Re: Vinyl wear stickers finally done.

no the stuff I use is oracal 851 it's an auto grade film. crystal clear this is only 2 mil thick which is why when mine are installed they are nearly invisible. No one else carries this decal. You will not wear through this film anytime soon it's a premium cast and it has a really good adhesive. after this stuff sets it's there to stay. this is an 8 year rated vinyl which the oem was a 5 year. also the temp range is -58 F to 230 F so yeah this stuff will hold up. I researched quite a bit of different materials before I picked this.
