Itll fit, but those tires are going to buldge some, you really should use an 11" rim as a minimum for that tire size. I run 18x10.5 z06s in the rear of my car and a 305 is the biggest i would run. What size spacer are you going to run, i run 2" and its flush with the fender doesnt stick out at all. But back to your original question...yes it will fit.
with a thick a$$ adapter it will. Atleast 2" thick id imagine prob more. It will also pertrude out of the wells a bit. I have 295 30s on a 9.5" wide wheel and my car barely doesnt rub on the inside and it is close to sticking out. So, im sure with a 10.5 and 315 its gonna stick out a bit.
I dont think the bulge is gonna hurt you too much. Most vehicles i work on everyday have slightly oversized tires for the wheel width and it doesnt hurt anything. Just keep them aired up!!
315 should be ok on a 10.5" but fit will be tight. I"m not sure how deep the wheel well is on convertibles vs hardtops but i have 295/30/19's on my rear and i could squeeze a 315 without too much trouble i think. I wish i would have gotten the 305's. Have to pound in the wheel well alittle with the 315, but not so much with the 295's. Just a few wacks at the bottom thin metal. It be even with the fender lip too if not slightly poking outward with 305-315's, depending where the backspacing lies

I have a 2 1/8" right now and a stock 10 spoke SS 17" wheel is just flushed.Whats the offset of your Z06?Mine is a 58mm(replica) which I think is more than the stock one.
Ill be using Sportlines if it makes a difference.I can go as far as rolling the lip and maybe flattening the inner plastic but thats it.
The reason for going with 315's is it seems more popular and easier to get.
Godspeed - I agree with you.20mm is not much of a difference for it to make a difference IMO.It would still depend on the brand since some companies have different ways of measuring their tire
Orr89 - Its been while since the last time I did it (2nd gen). But what I did was use a deep socket to slowly bend the inner fender lip
Mine are stock z06 wheels off a c5z. I think its 56mm not pos. You will need to roll your fenders or else its going to rub on big bumps, baseball bat has always worked for me.

update..I had to roll the lower inner front fender (beside the LCA)..but thats it.Its 1/2" away from the bulge close to the bumpstops. The tires are hoard to come by only motorsport/race tire suppliers dealers sell them
