i love both of my verts and will problaly keep the till old age but i just couldn't help to admire the McLaren 5.0. the apperance of this stang is more distinct in comparison to the regular stang vert. i wouldnt of mind if gm had placed special badges or decals on our verts
The Verts are technically special, who needs an extra badge???
Actually AFAIK ASC & McLaren are seperate companies, they did some projects together. They outsourced the Seats & such to other companies like Triad. The Mustang verts (or at least around 1990 - 1992 ) were converted by C&C. My girlfriends Dad worked for C&C at the time and said they did conversions.

All '80s Mustangs were built by C&C (except the ASC McLaren 2-seaters) and were factory authorized and supplied to Ford dealers. ASC & McLaren were seperate companies that partnered to build the 2-seaters. Those were not factory authorized, but were marketed and sold to Ford dealers to resell as new cars.
