Hey guys, I have been driving 4th gen camaro's for the last 5 years and am getting th eitch for a 3rd gen again. I came across a 1991 chevrolet camaro convertible, white with a black top and the grey/black two tone cloth. car is very clean, not a spec of rust, no dent, or scratches really. I would say teh car is a 8.5- out of 10. it has 89,000 miles. is $4200 a decent price? I just dont know what they are worth! I am not looking for a response from someone saying if its what you want get it. I know what I want but I want to make sure I am getting it at a fair cost. thanks guys
Honestly, no that's not a good price. A good price for your area would be around $3,500 for a Z28 Convertible in good shape with that mileage. The blue book is only $3,860 in pristine condition.

Finally got a thirdgen (06/21/09).
no rust in MI? I say if you like it go for it, it is worth whaqt you think it is, not what they think it is. How many you gonna find there that are not rust buckets?
If you really want a good estimate on price you should provide some detailed pictures and a little more info. For example is it an RS or z28? Automatic or manual? TBI or TPI? You already told us its a 305, so if its a 5-speed z28 it's a tpi car and would be considered quite desireable, less desireable/less valuable would be a tbi auto car. If the car is in as good of shape as you claim it shouldn't need any work at all. If that's the case and its a Lb9 5-speed (z28) it would be worth the money in my opinion.
