My dad is selling his 1995 Dodge Viper RT/10 on Kijiji, needs the money to pay some bills and such.. A guy came by last week to look at the car, and he fell in love with it.. He sent an offer of $27000, and his 1988 IROC-Z convertible, it's an original 130,000 KM Loaded car. He says it needs paint and a top, but we don't know until we receive pictures, but what do '88 Irocs go for?

I wouldn't really worry about the 3rdgens value, just consider it a bonus. It's probably only worth $2500.
Knowing how many people stashed away vipers when they came out thinking they would be worth a fortune down the road because nothing would have more then 400hp are now SOL when it comes to their 'investment'
(friend still has his life savings in one in a shed on blocks)
I say take the money, but not because of the vert.
He loves the Viper, but like you said, Aaron, the value of them went the wrong way. It's a 20,000 KM 1 of 300 emerald green car, too. But no one even looked at it for $39,000.
Needs some work, but over all it's in pretty nice shape.. I'd like to replace both front fenders, and get that exhaust redone.. With 3 G's it'll be a nice car.

If I'm not mistaken Jay Leno said this exact same thing.

Haha I've been hunting for doors and fenders like a mad fool. I got my hood done, so now we can start working on the Iroc..
