i messed something up

ok so here goes we were working on my friends 89 vert
and i'll lte him type the rest lol


car was running i put it into the garage
and pulled out the interior seats carper everything
i found a bunch of old wires that were all connected to nothing so i pulled and tossed them fixed a hole or two in the floor boards and managed to get the rear actuators for the tournnu to work


now fast fwd 2 months and i got to start the car

I put the key in and go to start it
i turn the key and get nothing from the engine at all
but the hatch release actuators pop ope


WHAT DID I DO???????

i've spent the last week back tracing and still cannot figure it out

sounds like you looped in the neutral safety switch to your tonneau release

Neutral safety switch.

Assuming you have an auto, its mounted to the shifter. If you moved any of the wires around on the console, you may have tapped into that.

Its just a thought
