You may remember, but if not here it goes...I got this car from my best friend that pasted away of cancer last year. It was parked for 11 yrs and was looking terrible. I decided I wanted to bring it back to life and drive it again for my friend! After a year of cleaning and replacing just about everything I can say I am pretty happy with the out come. Some details..Its a 1987 Iroc convert, number 396. Has four wheel disk brakes, posi, power seat, power rearview mirror. I do not have the rpos (wish I did) The top was ripped when I got it (you can just think how bad it was inside) There were mice nests everywhere, it stuck horrible!! The wife gave me the "what the hell are we going to do with this look" when I brought the car home. Well long story short, this is what I did..Stripped everything out of the car, sanded and painted the floors, new carpet, all new seat covers, new top, all new weatherstripping, scrubbed all the stuff that I left inside, seatbelts ect ect. replaced the fuel pump, new injectors, new throttle body, plugs, wires ect ect ect. You get the idea, Stripped the body and sent it out for paint and bodywork, new wheels and tires ect ect ect...well here is some before and after pics...I will get more if anyone is interested in seeing more pics...Thanks guys, this forum has been a huge help in the project and I hope my buddy Rob is looking down and is as happy as I am in the way the car turned out...thanks again guys!!
