Has anyone re-dyed a soft top?

On my 92 T/A vert, the top material is in excellent shape aside from being somewhat sun faded. Can this be redyed? If so, what would you recommend?

Thanks in advance...

Welcome to the site. I haven't tried any of the dyes myself, but maybe someone else can chime in for you that has.

Re: Has anyone re-dyed a soft top?

Well, after some research and trial & error, (mostly error) I found something that may just do the trick. I just got done with the first steps in the process, and I'll post pics (and video if possible) of how I did it and how it turns out, good or bad.

Stock cloth top - original top. Unfortunately, the photos really don't do it justice. According to my wife, who originally owned the car, it "never looked that good" when she had it (since 1996), so I'm gonna take that as a compliment.

Re: Has anyone re-dyed a soft top?- part II

I used a product called Renovo soft top reviver. Google that phrase and you'll find a link to them. I can't really speak to what's on a Camaro since I don't own one, but I think if it's the original, it should be cloth, same as my T/A.
