Convertible fender bracket pics

I'm trying to mount a new fender onto the driver side of my car. I've already cut the bottom off of it to make it fit. However, I don't know what the bracket that was added to these fenders is supposed to look like or if it can be seen from the passenger side with the door on. Also, I'd like to know what the gap between the fender and the A-pillar is supposed to be. Any pics would be great. Thanks.

Having just replaced mine, I can tell you that at least the back part of the bracket can be seen on the other side if you open the door all the way. Unfortunately, I don't have a still pic of the bracket, only a video.

Not sure about the gap but the main purpuse is just to hold the fender in place. You should have the part you can see with the door open bolt and the other side behind the wheel is just sheet metal screw into the inner fender. The bracket should be rivited onto the fender behind the ground effects.

Re: Convertible fender bracket pics

Yes! That's awesome. I was actually able to get pics on the passenger side and by removing my wheel well plastic cover but that pic really completes what I needed. It'll be fab time next weekend. Thanks for all the replies.
