I thought some of you would find this helpful...

It is the Convertible Enhancements - Noise, seat belt trim, operating and leak issues Service Bulletin.

It applies to all ASC convertibles.

NOTE: the figures on page 8 are now included in the file...

Thanks for the information. There is another way to eliminate the rattles and noises from our tops though - PUT THEM DOWN! Its the only way to drive these cars.

Hey anybody know where I can get a new switch for the lid release ? Mine still works but the black plastic prongs that hold it in place have somehow broke off causing the switch to dangle by the wires--sucks. Thanks !

You can use a hatch release switch - exactly the same except for the image on it... I've got a brand new one if you are interested...

i was at the local pic n pull and up pops this 91 camaro conv this car had these tube steel originally gold cad trailing arms they had a seat belt type fabric about 10 inches long and bolted to the inner well so when the car is airborn or just lifted up yhe rear end does not drop . this car also had a tubular panhard bar. oh btw it was installed with rtw bolts like factory stuff. i bagged this stuff. i have an 89 iroc conv. just supposing that maybe it was an updated asc conversion stuff never seen anything like it.any thoughts

AFAIK ASC did not update any of the suspension... it sounds like an aftermarket change to me... I know that they use things like that on race cars so that when they pit and jack it up the car they can access the tires faster... The straps specifically is what I am referring to...
