I dig everything about it except for the paint job.
ive seen alot of crappy flame jobs on third gens,i dont know i its the lines of the car orwhat. they just never look right. This onr tho, someone put alot of love into. the flames break behind the door, i like it.
bluezee28....was that you in camaro performers this issue?
Looks to have a nice power plant - but why would you build a drag car out of a convertible? That just doesn't make much sense to me - now with the roll cage your top is stationary... Wouldn't it have been just as easy and cheaper to build one from a hardtop? Too each is his own I suppose...

That's what I was thinking, especially since 'verts are a bit rarer. Considering that car's drivetrain has hardly anything original from factory, I would've just taken a dime-a-dozen RS or sport coupe.
might not have started out as a drag car, just where it ended up. I see quite a few verts at the track.
I wasnt going to put a bar in mine, but the wife and my mom teamed up and are making put in a 8pt. My top will still be usable. a few guys on here have verts w roll bars.
Nice pictures man! I like your vert. In the first pic, were you leaving a parade or something? I see your car, a weird tricycle, and a c4 corvette, all in line!
It was last years Woodward Dream Cruise here in Detroit, MI. Biggest gearhead gathering in the world I believe on one of the oldest strips of road in our country. It's a suggested stop for any motorhead. 3rd weekend of august every year. They frown on burnouts in some locations but open headers are welcomed everywhere... haha
