Re: Just Bought a Project Iroc Vert !
Managed to install my xmas present the other day. Pioneer Stereo.... Love it - sound is very good, cool light show, about 20 different colors. Installed new speakers in rear - I had a pair of 6" sonys from my boat -- worked nice.
Unit is 4" tall hole is 3 1/2", with trim removed hole is about 3 3/4", loosen up the HVAC controller and it shoe horned in. Had to carve up the trim ring and I bought a Ford retro kit from walmart cause they had 4" trim pcs, worked well ..
Polished tail lights up, shaping up.

Very nice - just in time for warmer weather - holy crap will it ever stop friggin snowing ? I took a ride Sunday with the top down it was like 55* ...
Snow was gone here so I wanted to get it out for a quik ride.
Microfibered the louvers, they look better than pic shows, plus dusty.
Glued new studs in back with a bolt and gorilla glue - worked great.

Re: Just Bought a Project Iroc Vert !
It's amazing how this past weekend was mid 50's and it snowed yesterday. All n a matter of a couple days.
I never thought of that! Gorilla glueing bolts to the louvers since the studs always break off. Good thinking, I would like to see your convertible sometime at a car meet in jersey, It looks clean. Good luck and enjoy the weather lol

I plan on bringing out to the next meet, don't get too excited, she needs paint and body work. Running good, good bones and a little more work.
