Time for paint!

Hey everybody! I have finally sent my vert in to get a new paint job! I dropped her off last week with a very respected local painter. Getting ready to place my order for all the weatherstripping soon. Will try to update as often as I can.

Re: Time for paint!

Awesome. Hope the paint comes out nice. I just bought the complete stripping kit for mine. Get the total kit ($570-ish) it is worth it. I bounced back and forth between the $450-ish kit and that one and glad I chose the $570-ish.

What extra is in the 570 kit? I only saw the 460 kit. I placed my order today. I got the kit plus the doors, lock pillars, and window felt kit.

460 kit comes with:
4 Convertible Top Roofrail Seals
2 Door Seals
1 Convertible Rear Bow Seal
1 Convertible Top Header Bow Seal
2 Front Window Triangle Seals
1 Tonneau Cover Seal (door that covers convertible top when down)

570 kit includes:
The 460 kit PLUS
2 Outer Belt Weatherstrip
2 Inner Window Sweeps & Moldings
2 Door Lock Pillar Seals
1 Trunk Seal

The 570 kit is well worth the cash. Now if I could get a compete kit for my 94 cobra or 57 Chevy A1 would be my one stop shop for weather stripping.

sorry man - just saw this post.

I got mine from 1A-Auto
$570 - Kit (Click Me)

Not a fan of how their ordering process goes - you have to submit your email address so you can be notified when the kit has been built, even though when you look they have all the components in stock already. this process for the $460 kit was fairly quick (couple of days), but when i realized i made an oops and wanted the $570 kit it took about 3 weeks for it to become "in stock". That is honestly the only negative thing i can say about this kit - shipping was awesome and quick and the parts themselves are excellent.
