I need to do a coolant change and maybe it's time to do a waterpump also. I have been researching the Evans coolant. I am planning to just do the coolant and their water pump and skip the radiator for now. Thanks!

I have researched it too. It seems like a cool idea, but you need a different water pump (Evans) and the coolant is spendy...For the cost of retrofit and availability of the coolant, it would be better to stick with a conventional coolant and get a sweet radiator and hi flow water pump instead.

GM High Tech Performance was using it on their thirdgen project car, but had the water pump die or something like that. If it isn't dead reliable, I would have hesitations about it.

GMHTP's was a stock replacement waterpump that failed. That car has been nothing but problems for them since day one anyways.

The info I have seen says the coolant is good for 10yrs/100K miles. So the longterm benefits seem to outweigh the initial cost.

I thought that was one of the caveats of running the NPG though, that you had to use their water pump...

Anyway, I have heard good claims, but almost no one has actual real world use of it...at least that I have heard of...

I would be interested to hear from someone who actually IS or HAS used it personally.
