Low-Tox Coolant...

I was wondering if that low-tox/enviro-friendly coolant works just as well as regular Prestone coolant. Anyone use this stuff or know if the thermal properties are the same? I only ask because I have a crap load of it that I found in the shed (previous owner left it behind).

3. Summit or cheaper flat bottom Open filter base with Edelbrock Elite top (match with valve covers later)
4. World S/R Torkers 305 (if I don't get 383)
5. Edelbrock Elite Centerbolt Valve Covers
6. Edelbrock TES Headers
7. Flowmaster American Thunder 3" Catback
8. Cam (not sure which one to go with??? Unless I get 383)
9. Holley 670 TBI (Unless I get 383 first)
10. Carb Manifold & TBI adaptor (Unless I get 383 first)
11. Aluminum driveshaft (undecided; Unless I get 383 first)
12. Hurst auto shifter (if I don't get a T56)

I've used Sierra (low-tox) antifreeze in many of my cars. Sierra is Propylene glycol-based rather than Ethylene glycol-based (Prestone, Peak, etc.) While I'm no chemical engineer and can't speak for the specific cooling properties of either one, I will say that I've never noticed a difference between the two. Sierra works just as well, as far as my temp. gauge can tell, and seems to protect just as well with regard to corrosion.
