fan

If I have my fan grounded permanately, and have it running all the time, how fast will my fan burn out or will it?

its going to cut down the life alittle more, i wouldnt run it all the time. you should just take that ground wire and put a simple toggle switch on it so u can gorund it anytime you want. there is not really a need to have the fan running while cruising / on the highway, the car should still get good air flow.

Yeah I realize that but how do I run a toggle switch and do I need to re wire the power source or do I just hook the switch to the ground wire. I am bad with stuff.

mine burnt out on the I5 on monday

I used it for a year (I've had it for a year) with no problems

new fan is $60 USD

I only have 1 engine bay fan

and yah it's been on for a year, on while the ignition is on.

That air dam makes a big difference! I run my primary all the time bc the motor is not stock and I have a trans cooler in front of it so the trans constantly has cooled fluid going through it. The AUX is wired to a foglight switch. It only took me a week to figure all that out! Read this post
