Car: 1987 Firebird... in pieces. Engine: 3.1L V6 LH0 soon to be 3100 Transmission: Borg-Warner T-5 Axle/Gears: 2HL 3.42 open | Which A/C valve? I was just wondering which valve in the V6 A/C system is the one that I attach the can of refrigerant to. I am not doing anything yet, just asking questions so I don't blow up... Also, which port would I use to test the system for any pressure at all.
Okay, here's the entire problem. The A/C flat out don't work, and it's 80-90 degrees outside here in NY. The compressor won't even engage. Bad compressor, maybe? Or clutch? or is the system empty? The compressor on another car I have is the same as is on my 87 Firebird, that system is known to be empty, and the compressor don't rotate either. IT"S HOT! | | | |
